Dr. Asiah Kassim is a Consultant Paediatrician and Paediatric Respiratory Physician at Hospital Tunku Azizah, where she serves as the Head of the Respiratory Unit and the Head of the Clinical Research Centre (CRC). Dr Asiah is passionate about imparting knowledge on respiratory health and is active in education and training of respiratory doctors and trainees. She is the programme director of the Malaysian Thoracic Society‘s well-received certification course in spirometry. She was also instrumental in the development of the Ministry of Health’s TB in Children education module and Dr. Asiah was recently appointed as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Lung Foundation of Malaysia.
